MONDO Athletics offers competitive basketball opportunities for boys in grades 4–12. But making a team isn't the beginning of development—and playing more games isn't always the answer.
Our competitive teams are built around player development, appropriate competition and meaningful opportunities to apply what athletes learn in training.
Athletes are evaluated based on skill, basketball IQ, readiness and the competitive environment that will best support their continued growth.

Not every athlete who comes to MONDO needs the same thing. Some are ready to compete now. Others will benefit more from additional development before joining a team. Our job is to help identify the right next step.

A mix of local tournaments and or leagues. Sample events include: GTE, iHOOP Nation, Hoop Dreams Nation, Rise Up Sports, JPS, Ball is Life and others. More competitive teams travel in July.

Can't Make Tryouts?
No problem. MONDO evaluates athletes year-round. Complete an Athlete Profile and we'll help determine another opportunity to be evaluated.

Team placement is only one part of player development.
Athletes who aren't currently matched with a MONDO competitive team may be recommended for clinics, camps, private training or another development opportunity based on their individual needs.
Development isn't a consolation prize. It's part of the process.
