A youth development basketball league for boys interested in playing 5v5 games in a world-class learning environment led by certified professional coaches and trainers.

When?
  • Saturdays 12:00 - 3:00 PM from December  14, 2024 to February 22, 2025 (off December 28th).

Location?
  • 24 Hour Fitness, 15900 E Briarwood Cir, Aurora, CO 80016 (get directions)

The 2nd annual 2024-2025 MONDO D-League has ended. Hope to see you next winter. 
For whom?
  • Not for beginners. Must have some organized, officiated basketball playing experience, not just "pick up."
  • Recreational players that have played in some sort of city or community league are welcomed!
  • Boys ages 14-17 years old in the 9th - 12th grades, NOT on a high school team and with a foundational understanding of the game.
  • More advanced 8th graders welcome, following an evaluation. 
  • Players on a high school team may require permission from their high school head coach.
  • Great for anyone looking for extra development + the opportunity to apply skills learned in real games.

Basketball league features:
  • 2 games minimum daily.
  • 30 - 45 minutes of skills work followed by...
  • 5v5 games with an emphasis on learn universal sets and concepts that you can take anywhere
  • ​Small rosters for maximum playing time
  • No standings, no records, no pressure... just a fun hoops learning environment!
  • Officiating, coaching, and reversible jerseys are provided

Current Trends in Youth Basketball

Too often, players that then get cut from high school tryouts may quit playing basketball altogether. Or perhaps the high school program is not a fit or they chose to commit to other activities but still desire an outlet to keep hooping. MONDO Athletics' basketball leagues provide an outlet for student-athletes to help counter these unfortunate trends. Participants receive high quality and certified instruction, along with plenty of game-like reps to help them develop!
