We are PROUD to announce that Thomas Jefferson High School has become the latest PARTNER of the Mile High Centennials Basketball Academy. The Academy will help foster the skill and character development of TJ's "Futures" boys basketball program that is for boys in the 8th grade and below.
As such, TJ will serve as the primary training facility for all Centennials competitive TEAMS during the 2016 spring season. High quality youth skill and character development is very important to both the Centennials and TJ boys basketball coaching staffs.
"This partnership creates a much-needed avenue of learning for youths that are serious about crafting their game, not just for those within TJ's immediate vicinity, but the greater Southeast Denver metro area as well," stated the Academy Founder, Armando Carrillo, Jr.
This partnership is non-exclusive. The Academy will continue building relationships with other high schools in similar fashion, and will continue hosting year-round skills clinics, conducting private basketball coaching sessions and performance training in other gyms. Only through this approach, will the Academy do its part in helping to boost the quality and quantity of basketball talent that emerges out of our cherished Centennial state of Colorado.

The Mile High Centennials' year-round drop-in boys basketball clinics typically run 2 hours long. Whenever the club is competing in a basketball league for an extended period of time, though, like the JAM Spring and Fall Leagues that span over 2 months each, the length of our basketball skills clinics may be cut back to 60-minutes and the format changes slightly to grant our competitive boys basketball teams dedicated practice time to work on team concepts and full court offensive and defensive sets.
