"Truly blessed to be a part of the Valor hoops family," stated Mr. Carrillo. "I look forward to the challenge, to learning from such a prep hoops veteran as Coach Pachner, and most importantly to continuing down the rewarding path of nurturing and fostering character and skills development in Colorado youths." Mr. Carrillo has immediately been tasked with ensuring a smooth and enlightening basketball learning experience for Valor's 5th - 8th grade competitive boys basketball teams that will compete in the upcoming 2016 Gold Crown Winter League season. "Nothing changes with the club's approach or skills-first philosophy," affirmed Mr. Carrillo. The Mile High Centennials hosts year-round basketball skills clinics and seasonal competitive teams. "I have boys that currently attend or will feed into some of the top 4A and 5A high school basketball programs in the state, so I expect a little trash-talking," jokes Mr. Carrillo. "It's all in fun. They know that no matter where I coach or where they play, I will always support them whole-heartedly."
