Carrillo joins a fairly new Raptors coaching staff that is entering its second season of rebuilding under Head Coach, Jarris Krapcha. "We are excited to add Coach Carrillo to our staff. He has been a part of the Denver metro basketball community for many years and with his knowledge and reputation as a skill development coach, he will be an asset to our program." -Jarris Krapcha, Head Coach of boys basketball, Eaglecrest High School The Raptors won the Colorado 5A boys title in 2017 under the 16-season leadership of John Olander, who retired from coaching shortly thereafter. Carrillo will coach the sophomore boys team starting with the 2018-2019 season. Prior to Eaglecrest, Carrillo was the Varsity Assistant at Denver West. "I value my two seasons at West dearly, and am most thankful for that opportunity," stated Carrillo. "I am eager and ready to make a positive impact to Raptor hoops."
